Yes, it sounds as though you have what is known as a boil or carbuncle. This may also be an ingrown hair Warm compress and a antibiotic cream will help. Something such as neosporin.

I am sorry I must have misunderstood the question. Do you have a beard and are you dark skinned. When you say white spot is it literally a white spot or blotch on the skin surface.

Ok, you may have anything from a skin infection to what is known as vitiligo. I would strongly suggest seeing a dermatologist soon since this has been on-going for a couple of months. An antibiotic cream may clear this up or further treatment may be needed. I would not wait on this as it does need to be checked.
