i am having a pain on the left side of my stomach ...

i am having a pain on the left side of my stomach about halfway between the waist and the end of the rib cage. it is not a bad pain i can feel it when i breath in or out, or when i move around. it feels somewhat like a sore muscle or torn muscle. not sure what this could be????
