problem with urination

I have had a constant but minor burning when I urinate for the past year and a half. I assumed I had a urnary infection from holding it in too long. However, I went to the doctor, and after taking a urine specimen they said it was not a urinary infection, but did not give alternatives. I took a prescription antibiotic for 10 days and have not noticed any real difference. My question is, what other possible problems may this be? Also, I have slowly developed some sort of bumps on the head and on someof the shaft of my penis. Could this be related to my urination problem?

Can I ask what the antibiotic was?

Are you sexually active?

Is there any discharge/odour?

How long have you had the 'bumps'? can you describe them - crusty, raised, red itchy etc.
