For about a year now I have been having intermitment bouts with what feels like the flu. I am fine one minute and the next out of the blue I get diarahea, nausea, headaches, extreme lethargy. Today for the first time with this, I have been extremely dizzy and felt faint along with these all of the above symptoms.
At times the flu like symptoms come immediately after I have eaten a meal, sometimes certain foods seem to trigger this yet I can eat the same things at another time and nothing happens.
I don't have health insurance so I cannot go to the doctor just so they can tell me it's the flu or I have to have dozens of tests that I cannot afford.
Please help me!
These episodes usually only last for a day or less.

This sounds more related to a problem within your gallbladder more than it being the flu, or an intestional tract disorder like colon problems. It can be worse after meals and at different times depending on if there is something on your stomach at that time. You should have them check your gallbladder or colon as even though the feelings you have seem like it could be the stomach flu this sounds more related to your stomach lining and intestional tract.

Reply to Cheryl K.'s Post: Thank you, I've been online checking different things that I thought it might be and it never occured to me that it could be either of those things.

Relist: I still need help.
I forgot to add that I also sometimes get a black stool with this. Usually the nausea is very little, most times it's just diarreha. This morning the diarrhea was black again.
Could this be exhaustian?

This is more related to bleeding within your upper intestional tract and would lean more toward an issue with your colon such as colonitis more than it would be related to your gallbladder. You need to be seen as exhaustion will not cause this and the bledding could be caused by constant bouts of diarrhea that have caused your intestional tract to become inflammed. It would be best to be seen and they should perform a colonoscopy to be able to see what is going on within your colon.
