There are over the counter Antibiotic Creams at your Pharmacy. Your local pharmacist may be able to better assist you. If the infection is bad then I suggest you see your eye doctor for a specific antibiotic of his choice.

These need to be taken care of. X-rays of the eyes are not taken. You may have had an eye exam and he should have picked up on red-eye or pink eye if this is indeed what you have.

If this is red eye from an eye exam then it will clear up on it's own. They use special eyes drops to dilate your eyes when being checked. This will cause some redness.

I got hit with a softball in my eye that is why the xray was taken. I had black eye and my cheek was swolen. All of that has gone away but not the redness in my eye. Help. Thanks!

Ok, with the added info that clears things up and indeed explains the x-ray. This was not mentioned in your first post and it appeared from your question that this was Pink eye.

You have hematoma of the eye (bleeding) and this will take some time to heal. There are no medications that will take care of this and it will need to have to heal on it's own. Normal time for this is up wards of two weeks for a full blood red eye. The eye has to heal and the body will absorb the blood during this time. It will go from dark red to a light yellow and back to clear. Sorry I misunderstood your initial question.

You may use Visine to help with redness but it will not take it away.
