I HAVE A SMALL NODULE ON THE BACK OF MY NECK UNDER THE SKIN ABOUT THE SIZE OF A DIME. IT IS ABOUT 1/4 INCH FROM MY SPINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THIS NODULE IS HARD WHEN PALPATING IT. IT DOES NOT MOVE UNDER THE SKIN. IT IS ONLY TENDER WHEN I PUSH ON IT. IT HAS POPPED UP IN THE SAME PLACE ABOUT FIVE TIMES NOW. IT HAS GOTTEN LARGER EACH TIME. COULD THIS BE AN INFECTION OR SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS?
