Hello,

Do you sweat a lot? Since the bumps or patches are reddish and itch a lot, I suspect that they could be due to fungal infection, especially if you have them in places which remain damp due to sweat.

Apply a cold compress ( a towel placed in the fridge) when you get a bump and hold it over the bump or patch for 10 minutes. This will cool the tissues and also decrease the itching. Dry it off and then apply Lotriderm ointment - this ointment contains an antifungal called clotrimazole which will act on the fungus as well as hydrocortisone which will control the itching. Try to avoid scratching as far as possible since it will cause spread of the fungus. Continue to take benadryl.

I hope this helps.

Reply to Dr.M.D.Mazumdar, MD(O's Post: Ok thank you I have one more question I dont sweat that much can it still be a fungal infection? I was worried it could be a reaction to the oxycodone even though i have never reacted to it before.
