Have you recently had unprotected sex with a new partner?

It would be best to make an appointment with your GYN for an exam and vaginal culture.

You can purchase some over the counter Vagisil to help with the itching.

If the discharge is a yellow-bown you may have Trichomoniasis which causes inflammation of vagina, burning and itching along with a yellow-white or yellowish-brown vaginal discharge.

It could be a STD (sexually transmitted disease). Some STD's cause itching, burning & discharge.

For right now you can go to the pharamcy and purchase some over the counter Vagisil to help with the itching. Here is some product info:

Make an appointment with your GYN for an exam and vaginal culture to determine if you have Trichomoniasis, a possible yeast infection or another STD.

Although vaginal yeast infections usually have a clumpy white "cottage-cheese" looking discharge, it also needs to be ruled out.
