Localized pain

At the beginning of the week I was having nausea and vomiting, the vomiting subsided but the nausea was still there. I went to the doctor and said said that I have viral gastroenteritis and she gave me a presciption for phenergan for the nausea. It helped. She also said that I have swollen lymphnodes and that my right tonsil was red and swollen as well, but I dont seem to have any problems with that. Now I am experiencing some localized pain in my left side. It is moderate i would say and has been going on for about four days off and on. Eating, passing gas, and having bowel movements seem to have no effect on it. Should I go back to my doctor or just wait it out?

It sounds like you may have an infection going on. I would see your doctor again to rule this out or to be treated with antibiotics. The side pain could be from lymph node swelling or an unrelated cause. You should see your doctor again.
