Hi, I am male, 63 years old and have what two doctors have told me is a subaceous cyst (spelling?) in my scalp about three inches above my right ear. Problem is, it really hurts and is about the size of a nickle. It has a "head" - a white spot in the center. My mother just soaked it in hot water and said it looked infected. Does this sound like anything remotely familiar to you?
