what smells

I am married, but we are seperated, lately when we have sex, which is about once a week, if I'm lucky.. Afterwards there is a smell coming from my vagina.. Tonight for example, we had sex, and when we finished we noticed a bad smell.. I don't know if it is coming from me or him. I think him, but not sure.. how can I find out and what would it be?
