Hi,

Herpes seems unlikely, but for reassurance, you can perhaps ask for a herpes 2 titer (blood test). It may take several weeks to three months to develop the antibodies. Your discomfort is possibly anxiety-related (plus perhaps a little irritation), in the absence of any evidence for any other reason.

Hi,

You may develop a brief flu-like illness two to six weeks after becoming infected. Signs and symptoms of an initial infection may include fever, headache, sore throat, swollen lymph glands and rash .

HIV tests aren't accurate immediately after infection because it takes time for your body to develop these antibodies, usually about 12 weeks. In rare cases, it can take up to six months for an HIV test to become positive.

Hi,

Yes, they are symptoms, and you can include these symptoms under the title of the Flu like symptoms which may be seen two to six weeks after becoming infected with HIV.
