I have tough question. my fiancce in barranquilla colombia informed me she got denied her visa ,because her blood test was positive for a std/ she went to docter, they told her she has siphlis . and it is in her blood,, she did not even know she had it, she told me she must of got it in 2001 from her es? now it is 2006.   she said she has only slept with him in 2001 and one other in 2004? is this possible,? and what should i do? is it safe for me to marry her if she gets a neg blood test, she has been on penn, last 3-5 months, and has to clean her blood the docter told her, now she tells me in nov, she will try to get a neg test result/ please i need advice!!!!!! i dont want to get this is it safe to marrie a women with silflis?????????   she has never had any sore,s or systems... is it possibe she has been mis dign???? or do you feel she has it???? need lots of help?? thanks mr. Syphillis has several stages - the primary stage may go unnoticed, particularly in women, since it is painless. The secondary stage involves a rash, again a symptom that may go undiagnosed if not specifically suspected. The latent phase follows these two phases, where the microorganism hides out in the body for years.

If she receieves appropriate treatment - there is no reason that she would be a health risk to you.

YOU SHOULD BE CHECKED if you have any initmate contact with her to prevent the possibility that you have become infected - there would then be a risk that you could reinfect her.

i want to make sure i can not get siflis from my future wife, if she has been treated for last 3-6 months with a lot of medicen in colombia? i have not had any sex relations with her. but i want to make sure i can not get this , after she has been cured?and do i always have to wear protection in the future with my future wife? thanks very much Mr, Bagnall.
