I have been having bladder pain. I thought it was a bladder infection but my test with my gyno came back negative. They did a test to check for something and used a cathiter to fill my bladder with fluids. The pain I continue to feel, feels like having the cathiter put in and out. A seering pain. What could this be? I have just had surgery on my hand and cannot afford to miss anymore work. This is very painful. It feels like my bladder is full but I don't really go anymore than usual.

MY gyno did urine test and came up negative. Also did the other test I described. I am not sure of the name of the test. Dr originally put me on Cipro thinking it was a bladder infection.

I really don't feel this told me anything. They have already done a urine test that came up negative. I wanted some ideas what this could be. I really can't afford to miss work + pay for a doctor visit for something I could treat over the counter. What he said was no help.

Hello,

When your urine is acidic that causes bladder pain so to overcome acidic urine you are prescribed Urinary alkalizer.

The answer I got was nothing I didn't already know. Advice for the ultrasound - I already have an appointment for that. I wanted an explantion as to what this could be. I won't agree to pay the fee with answers like that, that I already knew.

Reply to Dr Anil Munjal's Post: I am sorry but your advice did not help me. I already knew most of what you said. I already had an appointment with a urologist. I was hoping you would tell me what this could be.
