I'm getting pretty uncomfortable pain behind my left

Sent to Health Experts March 18, 2007 8:57 p.m.

I'm getting pretty uncomfortable pain behind my left eyebrow. I have had a cold/sinus thing going on for over a week, but this is the first time I have had pain. It seemed to happen pretty quickly. Anything to worry about?

This can be caused by sinus pressure so since you are having problems with this type of illness for a week and it has not gotten better or is staying the same it may be caused by a sinus infection which would cause a need for antibiotics and topical nasal sprays. It would be something to worry about if it continues but with sinus infections for now take some Benadryl Allergy and Sinus until you can be seen but if the pain continues and you see any sign of yellow or green color to your congestion this signifies infection and this is a bacterial infection that would require antibiotics. If it does get better but you continue to have alot of problem with your sinuses then at the very least they would prescribe an anti-viral medication to help fight the symptoms but it sounds to me as this may be infection related and the pressure is causing the pain you are experiencing.
