I am a 57 year old woman who has gone through menopause with no spotting for two years. I the last 3 weeks I have spotted twice for one day only. Is this normal?

This just occurred for the second time today. I need to know if I should wait for my GYN appointment in June or should I make an appointment now.

Hello

This is called post menopusal spotting or bleeding.Although mostly its due to benign polyp or an infection , but it can be sometimes serious. It may be normal if you are on hormonal replacement therapy(HRT).

Postmenopausal bleeding or spotting must be investigated by your gynecologist.

So dont delay for june & consult your Gynaecologist now.
