I have miserable earache...but I am not sure if it is caused by my jaw or an actual infection, any way to tell?

Reply to Dr J Burk's Post: in the front of my ear along the jaw...I actually went to the ER this morning they gave said it was an outer ear infection---gave me antibiotic drops and an oral anttbiotic and darvoset
