My brother gets an infection from time to time in his salava gland. He has seen an eye, ears, nose, and throat doctor for this problem, however, he tells him there is little to do for this? He has treated him with antibiotics and tells him there is a surgery for this which might disform his face, and would cause sweating when he eats. Is there a specialist he could see concerning this matter. Any information would be helpful.

Sounds like he has been given very reasonable advice.

Recurrent infections like this ar etreated with antibiotics and any op on the parotid salivary gland carries inherent risk of damage to the facial nerve which has five branches running through the gland.

It is most likely that anothre specialist would tell him exactly the same.
