Hi

Certain situations make infections more likely.

Being female
Being post menopausal
Being diabetic
Having problems emptying you bladder completely.

Can I ask if all your infections have been confirmed by laboratory reports.

Yes, they have been confirmed by a lab. I just can't seem to get rid of it.
I have been taking a cranberry suppliment and vitamin C on a daily basis, and that doesn't seem to make a difference.
Back to my original question. How is the bacteria introduced into my system?

Hi

The bacteria gain entry through your urethra ( the hole where the urine comes out).In women the urethra is only 1 cm long and it is a short distance for bacteria to "travel" , once in the bladder they can multiply in the nice warm sterile enviroment and cause problems.
