Is there anything unusual about the rest of the face, are you able to smile with both sides of the face? Any drooping of the same side of the face?
Have you had any viral infections lately, a cold perhaps? Or any trauma to the side of the face?

Judy,

I have not had any trauma to my face at all, I have had a cold(head cold) but no longer. No viral infection(s). When I smile the left side is not even with the right. When I speak, laugh, etc my mouth tends to gear to the right. The right side of my lip feels fuller than the left side. When I open my mouth wide, it gears towards the left as well...there is no droping on my left side..What I also nothiced is that, when I constrict my next, usually I will get two two muscles expand on each side, when I do it now, I only get the only on my right side to constrict...

Thanks

Clay

Most "common colds" are the result of a virus. The reason that I asked about a viral infection is that there is a condition called "Bell's Palsy" that involves irritation or trauma to the 7 cranial nerve AKA the "facial nerve." This can be due to a virus or a cyst or other mass or growth affecting the nerve pathway that feeds the facial muscles. If the problem is viral, an antiviral medicine such as acyclovir, used within the first couple days of the symptoms can drastically reduce the affects of the dondition, both in the short and long-terms.
This Bell's Palsy site discusses it and other forms of facial paralysis.
I'm not sure why the neck muscles would be involved in this, but otherwise it sounds just like Bell's Palsy!
