Hello

Just to clarify are you talking about Lymphocyte percentage?

Do you have any symptoms?

My count is from a routine blood test. I think the white count high is around 10.9 and mine was 24.52. I had a sinus infection for seven weeks and had some aching in my arms from stress due to my wife being in nursing care and not doing well. I was checked by my local doctor and my heart is fine. He said it was stress that was causing the aching. I have read that the high white count could be from infection, stress or luckemia. Is this correct?

Hello

Normal WBC count is 4.8 to 10.8 thousand WBC per microliter of blood .So you are saying that your WBC count is 24.52 thousand ?

Y0u are correct about the numbers but you haven't answered my question. Could the high count come from stress, luckemia or infection. Is that a reasonable possibility.

Hello

The high WBC count can be due to benign cause like infections or some thing more serious like Leukaemia.Leukemias as well as many other myeloproliferative disorders the total leukocytic counts are above 20, 000 (commonly above 30, 000) at the time of diagnosis.I would recommend Differential leucocyte count to investigate this further.

Since you have history of sinus infections for 7 weeks is the most likely cause of raised WBC.

Relist: I still need help.
I am still wondering if a high blood count can come from stress as well as infection from a sinus condition I had for seven weeks.
