I have been sick for 5 weeks with both ears plugged like i am under water that ache , below normal temp., my left side of lung aches like a bad side ache , tired and bouts of coughing spells with yellowish to green phlem . I have been to my doctor twice 1 st time he said i had ear infections and prescribed zithromax the 5 day antibiotic did nothing for me, 3 weeks after that i went in again feeling worse he prescribed levaquin 500 mg 10 days chest x rays and blood draw x rays and blood normal , today is my 9 th day on levaquin and i am gettin worse not better sleeping alot dizzie coughing more and no appetite and temp is 97.6 , i have had mono 16 years ago also

Dear customer...

You need to be reevaluated. It is possible you have an infection that was resistant to zitromax and levaquin. However, this could also be a viral infection which obviously will not respond to antibiotics. Viral infections typically cause things like this. As you can remember mono is/was a virus. See your doctor. He may consider having you see lung specialist (pulmonary).
