Hello

There are no documented cases of the ingestion of raw pasta causing a stomach rupture. This would never happen. There is a very strong acid in your stomach called hydrochloric acid that breaks down anything that comes in contact with it. Some foods such as high fat food take longer to break down than others that are low fat and simple carbohydrates.

Pasta is made from flour and water and sometimes eggs. If munched on raw it would be like munching on really hard crackers. It wouldn't rupture your stomach or intestine.

The only caution about eating raw pasta would be if the pasta were freshly made with eggs. The eggs in the dough should be cooked to avoid potential food poisoning.

If I can help you further please let me know and I will be glad to.
