I have an extreme build up of fluid in my right ear. I can hear the fluid and i have an EXTREME pain in that ear because of such build up of fluid in there that is pressing agianst my eardrum. I am goint to doctor in 40 minutes because right now they are closed. What should i do so the doctor would drain it. Becuase the pain is unberable and even cried. It is that painful and disguting feeling

an ENT should be able to drain the fluid by making a small incision in the ear drum. im not sure what type of dr youll be seeing. a regular primary care dr might not do this and you may need a referral to an ENT.
sometimes a short course of prednisone can help the symptoms and the drainage. you can try asking your dr about this option if they are unable to drain the fluid today.
