Friday I had a CT Scan of my lungs and abdomen, as a follow up to the RCC surgery a year ago. I went to sleep three hours after the scan, woke 5 hours later feeling hot/chilling.
Why were these elevated: my sugar.....260, blood pressure.....198/98 and temperature.....99.9 I am a female, 63 years of age, a diabetic type 2 and had my left kidney removed a year ago for RCC.

Already Tried:
I drank water 1am to 4am, through the night, went to the bathroom often, kept track of my blood pressure, sugar and temp......was better by the next morning

if you had contrast dye with the scan, which is likely with the background youre decribing, this could very well have been a reaction. although you are fine now i would call the ordering dr monday and let them know what happened. they will want to keep this in your file for future scans and might want to check some basic labs with kidney functions to make sure no more damage was done. keep drinking lots of water and stay well hydrated. if this happens again today call your dr.
