this would solve her problems. there is also an available treatment for fibroids called ablation (laser) therapy which is less invasive but wouldnt take care of the ovarian cysts obviously. oral contraceptives can sometimes shrink ovarian cysts so they are no longer a problem. at her age without ovaries she is at earlier risk for osteoporosis heart disease and high cholesterol due to early menopause.
there are abdominal hysters (been around for a while), with an incision in the abdomen
there are vaginal hysters (where the uterus is pulled out through an incision in the vagina (not very common)
and there is laparoscopic vaginal hysters (good alternative since no abdmonial scar and pulled out with a scope through an incision in the vagina)
