My cousin's daughter was just diagnosed with bacterial

My cousin's daughter was just diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, my daughter had close contact with her 5 days ago should I be worried that my daughter could catch meningitis? The doctor wants a list of everyone she has been in contact with but nobody knows how many days to go back.
