My elderly cousin is 73 has cirrosis and Myelodysplastic ...

My elderly cousin is 73 has cirrosis and Myelodysplastic Syndrome. White cell counts are 2.6, red cell count, platelets are low too. His blood pressure has gone very low and is staying at 96/46. He is refusing treatment & I wondering how low his pressure can get before he goes into heart failure?

his blood pressures just dropped 3 weeks ago and his doctor told me to take him to the hospital. He also has an enlarged heart and spleen. what should I do?

an enlarged heart is due to the excess stress and puts him at more risk for MI and heart failure. the spleen is due to the myelodysplasia mostly. you can try taking him but he always has the right to sign out or refuse treatment if he is still competent, unfotunately theres not much you can do without his agreeing.
