I have a blackish looking spot outside my aerola on my left breast. It is about the size of a pencil eraser. What could this be? I also am in the process of ending breastfeeding if that would have anything to do with it.

this should be looked at by your regular dr or a dermatologist. if not tender red or discharge unlikley a sign of infection due to breast feeding, called mastitis.
anything of this color on the skin could be precancerous and needs to be screened by a dr.
during pregnancy our chance of skin cancer increases so all the more reason, beings im assuming you had a baby not too llong ago :)
