My stomach has been hurting for about six months now.

Sent to Health Experts July 02 05:02 PM

My stomach has been hurting for about six months now. sometimes the pain is so severe it will make me almost vomit. I wake up in the middle of the night because my stomach will hurt. It will last thirty to ninty minutes about six times a day. Sometimes I will go two or three weeks with no pain. The pain is mostly in the middlle, upper half of my stomach just below my breast bone. but after awhile the pain will spread to the left side of my stomach and into my back. I have not seen a doctor yet I have no insurance. I am wondering what this could possible be. People tell me it a flu.

Most of the time it feels like very intense hunger pangs. But then my the lower left part of my back will start to hurt. Sometimes if I eat it will help.

this is called a viscerosomatic reflex meaning when there is an organ problem due to nerve overlap and pain fiber "wiring" it can cause pain in another area (the stomach, pancreas, gallbladder) can all radiate to the upper back.
