HOW DO YOU TREAT Lichenoid Dermatitis and what causes this

I have been told that I have Lichenoid Dermatitis, How is it treated and what is the cause of it ?

the most common type is lichen planus. its a reaction mediated by your own immune system, much like an eczema. the cause is unknown and can be viral or medicatin induced. it will usually go away on its own after less than a year.
in the meantime we treat it to go away sooner with antihistamines and steroid creams.
