For the past week I have been experiencing discomfort in my right leg. I began to notice the problem at night time while sleep. I would awake due to a feeling of heaviness in my leg along with mild throbbing. Then I began to feel warmth in my leg. This started with my lower leg and then it began to work itself up and down the complete leg...sometimes going as far as up to my right buttock and down to the bottom of my feet. I also noticed that while driving the pain was aggravated. I awoke this morning and now the back of my left leg (behind the knee has a mild ache in it) which I recall is how the right leg began...with a mild ache behind the right knee. Any idea what you think this may be?

this could be a pinched nerve in the back that supplies feeling to the leg...in other words you could have a disc bulge or hernation that is causing your problem...

i would suggest seeing you doctor so you can get blood work and an MRI of your back to see what is going on...

this is your most likely cause based on the information you describeed
