Question about Neb.law on Bipap s/t's

As a Board registered Polysomnography Technician My question? Am I qualified to set-up Bipap S/T's in the state of Nebraska.I'm working for a home health medical store here in the state of NE.
and they have asked me to check with you,because
in this state the law may be different than in Louisiana where I used to live.

I suggest you call your states department of health,and ask for professional licensing,and job description.They would be able to tell you.You can call them at 1518-474-5170 Dr.nagel .She is the one in charge for nys respiratory.If she cant help you ,at least she can guide you from there.I am not sure but I as a respiratory therapist myself believe only a therapist can set up bipap machines,however if your job is under medical supervision,there may be a clause.Also you can call The national board for Respiratory care at 1-913-599-4200 also the Association of respiratory Care at 1-972-243-2272.Hope this helps.
