Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor

Trichomonas: foamy, yellow-green foul-smelling discharge.

You can read more about it here

Either way.. you need to make an appt to be looked at to confirm this. Don't try to treat this with any OTC medication. If this is what you have.. don't prolong your visit to the doctors either.

Do you not have a nurse on campus? I am not familiar with that area. You may want to look in the phone book for the local Health Dept. Im sure with you going to a college it may not be far. (plus they may not charge or may go by a pay scale (especially since you are a student)

It is common to be picked up through intercourse. But you can get it without having sexual intercourse. Also, since this parasite can survive for several hours where there is moisture, direct contact with a recently contaminated object, such as a towel, can lead to infection. So don't be embarresed or anything.

Let me know if I can help any further..

Yeah, health depts usually have a section for females. To get your Pap, things like that.. Give them a call in the morning.. if they can't help you I'm very sure they will know where to send you to help. Just explain what you explained here.. and they will asssit you. You are far away from Mom/Home.. you will become outgoing..

Wish you the best of luck Hun.... If I have helped, don't forget to submit the accept button.. Need anything else.. just let me know... I'm here..

Trichomoniasis is successfully treated in most cases using a medication called Metranidazole or "Flagyl." It is important to remember that while taking Metranidazole you should not drink alcoholic beverages for three days before or after, and especially not while taking this medication. If you do during alcoholic beverages you may experience severe vomiting and abdominal pain
