23 year old male had bar implant for pectus extavatum. Slipped. Second surgery same Dr. Loose again at U of Mn hosp.Ruining his college studies. Wants it just removed and he will try to live with sunken chest. Or wants better Dr or orher method. How to change surgeons when intimidation rules with medical community?How find advocate at U of M where Dr trained? Alternatives to surgery? Direct e-mail or phone talk with empathetic, honest MD by him and/or his parents?

According to this reference:

" The Ravitich, Leonard, or Nuss [surgical] procedures are corrective. The Silicone implants Procedure is simply cosmetic, and will not address... heart or breathing difficulties. Have him or his parents [r]esearch them to see what would be best for [his] situation... [He should s]ee a thoracic surgeon with extensive experience in this condition, not a plastic surgeon."

sUJECT" REPLY TO STEVE"S POST.Spent hours yesterday arguing with them and making full changes on password and thought is was fixed. But tried to pay you again today and the same rejection popped up.
