what can i do for swelling knee and pain

Hello

For tonight try RICE.

Rest- keep off your knee as much as possible.

Ice- 20 minutes at a time, every hour or so. A bag of frozen peas or other vegetables works well for this.

Compression - if you have an ace wrap, wrap it up.

Elevation- keep elevated above the level of your heart.

Also, take some motrin or tylenol. It will help the pain and reduce the swelling.

If it is not better after doing this, by monday, you may want to seek medical attention.
