I broke my ankle 4 months ago..no pinning needed but ...

I broke my ankle 4 months ago..no pinning needed but broke the outside bone in 2 places. The past two weeks the whole leg and shin bone hurts worse now then when I borke it. I can walk with a limp fine, but the pain is really getting intense. Is this normal?

Dear Kim,
What you are describing is DEFINITELY NOT a normal occurence. It could suggest a displacement of the broken fragments/ a new injury. Only a detailed medical examination can tell the exact cause, but one thing is for sure, this requires a medical evaluation. Please get the same done at the earliest.
