Is it possible for you to be going into pre-menopause or menopause? There are several factors that can interfere with a period. Examples; stress, weight gain/loss, medication, illness, climate, cyst, or polyp of the cervix.. just to name a few.

If you don't feel any of the above would apply for your situation, then you should have an exam to make sure there is no type of infection, std etc. going on. At the time of the exam your doctor would be able to give a more accurate answer. You may need a hormone or get your system balanced again. Having a period every couple weeks could bring your body to an anemic stage. Since your doctor knows your medical history you should start there.

Good luck, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

Reply to Lindie's Post: I'm only 20 years old. I had a baby 16 months ago (June 04) I began taking birth controll that was safe for breast feeding in about August. I took it for a few months till about november. Then swithced to the patch because i was forgetting to take my pill. I had the patch for about two months then switched to the shot because I did not really like the patch After that I hvnt taken any birth controll since. November had been my last period till about july and thats when I started getting my period every two weeks. It also seems that I get a bladder infection in between these two week periods. Please help!
