I had severe hip and leg pain and bottom of feet felt like they were burning.I have no appetite and now weigh 79.5 lbs. I am 40 yrs old and 5ft 1. I was hospitalized and they ran all kinds of tests. They said I was potassium deficiant and low sodium and my body was not absorbing these. It took 9dys for my potassium levl to rise so I could leave..they gave me many I.V>'s for this. Now home 2 weeks the pain is still continuing and I have no appetite and continue to lose weight. I have no medical insurance and I am poor. The state of CT will not provide so I cannot go to doctor or follow-up with a specialist. When I call hospital to speak with the doctor I had while in there they say no because he isnt my regular docotor. Please can you tell me what is wrong and how to gain weight?
