I had sex 10 days after a cesearian birth am I o.k.??????????????

I am really worried because the Dr. said I had to wait 6 (six) weeks before putting anything into my vagina. My boyfriend insisted we have intercourse after only 10 (ten) days. I had a c-section. Now I am just wondering if I'm O.K. and how much damage this could actually do to my insides.
