Gall bladder attack Hun. Not much you can do to lessen the effects. You can try to take some ibuprofen for the pain. If severe, enough you can go to the ER. They can give you something for the pain and do an ultra sound, which will give them an idea of how bad your gall bladder is. But once you start these attacks. Somewhere along the way, you will need to have it out. It can take anywhere from 2-6 hours for the pain to subside. In the mean time stay away from fatty, greasy foods, dairy products can trigger this, caffeine, chocolate.

So if you don't do the ER.. do see your doctor. If there are stones etc.. that is what the ultra sound will show.

I know when I use to have him.. I would get on my hands and knees with my head downward and some reason, this would help. If you can get someone to rub your back where the pain is.. this too helped me a lot during the bad pains.

First thing you really need to do is see his doctor to make sure there is no underlying cause as to why this may be happening. High Blood pressure, sugar, smoking, some medications can cause this too. So you do need to rule any of the above out. It's nothing to be embarrassed out. Things like this happen and if it's due to a medical reason, then this is the alert he is getting to be seen.

I had my Gall Bladder removed years ago. This is not that kind of pain. This is in my chest and shoulders . I have been told I have costacondris but I have never had the burping with it.

Generally Costochondritis is in the front, in your original question you stated the right side.

This could indicate GERD, Having a large hiatal hernia, since some symptoms can mimic the other, it may be heart related. Without and exam and some test would be unable to pin point. If you are still getting this pain please do see your Doctor for further evaluation.

Hope this helps.
