Good Afternoon,
Yes, you should seek medical attention for your problem. There are a myriad of things that our bodies take care of while we sleep, cell regeneration, healing of muscle tears that we get every day, just to name a couple. Being sleep deprived, even if you don't feel any adverse effects, can increase your level of stress hormones, which in turn can increase your bad cholesterol and decrease your good cholesterol. You are at a greater risk for heart attack when the body is chronically sleep deprived, not to mention the dangers of driving, etc., even if you don't feel tired. Also, insomnia can be a symptoms of an underlying more serious illness or condition. Please see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
