I have a question about my fiance. He is a very loud and outgoing guy but he has issues with going places. He literally can't go out of our hometown. He gets really nervous and his stomach gets upset. He will start figiting and then he gets angry. He will say I want to go home now! It's become a very big issue! We don't go any where together. This is very confusing to me because he traveled up and down the east coast with his grandfather when he was young. Does he have the symptoms of a disorder or anything else you know of? PLEASE HELP!!

Your fiance should definitely go see his Dr and have a talk with him/her. Something has happened to him, or he has a condition that he should get treatment for. Without more information, it's hard to say what condition it could be

Dromophobia- Fear of streets

Dystychiphobia- Fear of accidents

Gephysrophobia- Fear of crossing bridges

Kainophobia- Fear of anything new

etc. etc....

It could be a lot of things. Maybe something happened in your fiance's past that he doesn't feel comfortable talking about? There is something there though, and your right to question what's going on. Encourage him to seek medical help, or talk it out with him.

Best of Luck,

Ryan

Ashley,

It's impossible to say given the information you have provided. To state that your fiance has ______ condition would be a guess and do more harm than good.

A Dr would be able to further look for symptoms and talk to him about the reasons behind his fear. I know that you'd like for a direct answer, but without speaking directly to him, that isn't likely....

Best of luck,

Ryan
