I think I just got over a virus from this weekend; it started Friday evening.. I was nausea, vomiting, and very tired. Now that I'm over it, my i feel like i'm starving. I am drinking water and eating alittle bit of food (carbs and protein) all the time (because I'm sure my stomach is a bit sensitive after not eating and throwing up) and the stomach growling will not stop. What is going on with that? it is very frustrating

You are doing the right thing. Drink fluids and eat what you can tolerate. A few small meals spread out over the course of the day is also a good idea.

Your system is just getting back on track after the virus. It is not unusual to feel ravenous afterwards, this is a good thing-- means you are getting better.

The "growling" happens when your stomach walls squeeze together in an attempt to mix and digest food and there's no food there. Gases and digestive juices slosh around in your empty stomach and before you know it - borborygm, which is the medical term for the growling. This is normal and end once you have have eatten a few meals.

If you have any further questions, please ask.
