Your doctor should have discussed treatment/management options with you. Generally speaking, your options can be divided into two categories: surgery and/or pain management.

I recommend that you either sit down with your doctor and discuss your options or that you ask for a referral to one or more specialists (for example surgeon, or pain management).

Bottom line: you need and deserve more than just a diagnosis -- but you are the best advocate for your own health care. Keep 'making noise' until you get the answers that you need.
