Lipitor can cause arthritis and muscle pain, as well, but this is a pretty rare event (but possible). Your pain, however, in both feet, sounds more typical of that related to flat feet.
Flexible flat feet, or feet that lose their arch when weight is applied, can cause a great deal of pain in a person. Orthotics can help, but they can also not help if they are not perfect for the patient, not perfectly fitted, and can actually cause more pain in the long run.
If your primary care physician (PCP) had nothing to add regarding your pain (they can be a great resource to tackle a majority of medical problems), then I would recommend that you see an orthopedist, and one who specializes in foot and ankle surgery. An orthopedist can give you a thorough foot exam, examine your gait, and make recommendations for orthotics or therapy that should help you find some relief. Medications could be prescribed, and if necessary, surgery could even be offered. But they should be able to help you find some relief.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Take care.
