The picture showed a very advanced case. It can be smaller. I would make an appointment with a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis.

Sorry you did not find the info helpful. Most everything to treat it requires a doctor.

Here is some more info.

I have no way to give you your money back. As you did not accept the question, the money will stay in the event you have a question in the future and then you can use it at that time.

Join the club, I am also broke. Husband was laid off 14 months ago and had prostate cancer. It takes a lot of work to make money here, but I like helping people so I do not mind.

Anyway-- it may stay just as it is or it could worsen. I would protect your skin against the sun if you work outside.

Doctors can prescribe steroid creams to be used for a limited period on the affected patches. With new areas or ones which have just started to spread, this treatment can slow down the rate of spread or even restore some of the lost colour, but unfortunately it does not work for everyone.

Protopic cream (tacrolimus) which has recently been licensed to treat eczema is proving effective in restoring some skin colour especially on the faces of some people who have vitiligo, when the loss of pigment is relatively recent and still active. It can only be prescribed for vitiligo by a dermatologist.

Can you apply for Medicaid?

You can try to apply for Medi-Cal with just your social security card. It is worth going down to find out.
