Workers comp lower back injury. Are they working against me??

Is workers comp working against me? I have lower back injury from former job. They are paying the med bills, but the doctors are not offering any resolution other than medication and its been over seven months! I've already tried p.t., and esi's. Nothing has worked. The meds dont work either. They just make me feel horrible without pain relief. They've also minimized my injury by saying they've seen worse and just referring me to my medication and rest. Help?
