I would like to know why I cannot find any info online about Lipozene or the other name of Amorphophallus konjac. This is supposed to be a dietary supplement that helps reduce weight and reduce body fat. It says on the bottle that it is clinically proven. I ordered it thru the mail. I would like as much info as I can aquire because I just started the "Lean For Life Program thru Lindora and I want to make sure that it does not interfer with the program. Please help
Thank You

Clinically proven in what venue? When it comes to weight loss products, that, unfortuantely is one of the biggest marketing ploys. It is never a guarantee that any product works. Clincally proven is when studies are performed by reputable drug companies with many years of clinical trials monitored by doctors or other research scientists, include double blind studies. The results are then submitted to the FDA for their review.

Most of these weight lost so called "miracle pills" are not regulated by the FDA and are a total waste of money. It makes me very angry that so many people get financially abused by the clever marketing.

I would not recommend that you mix the two products. It just doesn't make good sense. There is so little info related to either one.

Best bet, take the product to your pharmacist and ask him or her to take a look at the ingredients.

Through the years I have had so many patients look for the "miracle pill" to help them in lose weight and fat. If you read the fine print, it always states to be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.

I hate to be so negative, but as a medical professional if there were a magic weight loss pill that really worked, it would be all ovetr CNN and other major news networks.

A group of nurse I work with all have tried everything out there. Finally, they did the South BEach Diet. They all lost weight and have managed to keep it off. It is easy to follow and all they did was walk 30 minutes a day.

It claims to be the Obesity research institute.
I am aware of the must exercise and diet clause. What I am looking for is the interaction with the Lindora program. I will ask my pharmacist to take a look though. Thank You
