I am a 27 yr old female in good health. I just took a physical for a job and my bloodwork results came back and my iron count in my blood was very high. Too high. The normal iron count for my age is 145, my count was 206. I was wondering if there was a way to safely lower my iron count. Something maybe over the counter? I don't eat much redmeat at all, and I stopped taking my multi-vitamin on a consistant basis over a month ago. My diet hasn't been the greatest lately either, so I was wondering if there's something I can eat that'll lower it, or a medication. have a healthcare provider
